Joe Caston,
president & CEO, is a senior manager and leader with 25 years of experience in sales management, finance and general management in the information technology and software industries. Joe helps companies grow rapidly by developing effective sales and marketing strategies, recruiting top-notch talent, building results-oriented teams, and implementing solid financial management processes. He has a long track record of success at emerging and mature companies. He has built and managed top-performing teams across North America and is an expert in assembling, motivating and leading top-tier teams.
Joe was promoted to CEO of Cadre in 2006. He integrated an acquired company into a single team, achieving growth and market development plans while managing the P&L. Joe has built the company quickly and profitably. He established a marketing infrastructure and lead-generation engine that achieved company goals. He increased EBITDA by 1,800 percent in 12 months and raised millions of dollars in equity and debt financing.
Joe previously worked as vice president and COO for ToolWatch Corporation, where he was responsible for achieving growth and market development plans while managing profit and loss. At ToolWatch, he increased company sales by 39 percent and net income by more than 1,700 percent in a 12-month period. Previously, he held senior-level sales, marketing, and general management positions with various companies. Among them are Sprint, Infolink Audit Technologies, and Covad. He ran the Western region of the national accounts division for Sprint. He also has been recognized as a seven-time member of Sprint’s President’s Club.
He started and built InfoLink Audit Technologies, a software asset management company into a multi-million dollar business, serving clients like the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, ConAgra, and Air Touch. He eventually sold that business to Software Artistry.
Joe is a member of ExecQuity, a forum for corporate presidents headquartered in Colorado, and ExO, an executive organization that serves more than 500 C-level executives in the Rocky Mountain region. Joe holds a bachelor of science degree in marketing and business administration from the University of Nebraska.
