Bobby Kaemmer,
vice president of supply chain services and support, has been in the logistics solutions
business for more than 18 years. He began building a career in logistics
during college while working for Mobil Oil and John Deere.
Upon graduation from Kansas State University, he joined
Digi Postal Corporation, a small parcel distribution systems manufacturer
& distributor. Although his initial role was managing a territory
in the Kansas City area, after a short time he became a product
manager. Eventually, Bobby was named vice president in charge of
product management. In that role he was responsible for training,
documentation, quality assurance and oversight of all customer support
and implementation projects. In addition, Bobby used his background
in distribution and his technical aptitude and skill set to provide
insight into product design, development and deployment.
In the fall of 1995 and following eight years with
Digi Postal, Bobby joined the LDS Corporation, a third-party logistics
solutions provider, as vice president with responsibility for technical
operations. In 1999, he spearheaded the effort to develop the LogiView
supply chain network & solution suite with the intent of creating
an industry standard supply chain solution. With his background
in distribution, third-party logistics and technology, Bobby has
guided the effort from dream to reality. In March of 2006, the LDS
Corporation was purchased by Cadre Technologies.
At Cadre, Bobby remains responsible for the
overall direction of LogiView, its operations and development efforts.
