| Joe
A. Peters, president and chief executive officer, is a trusted
advisor to our customers and partners. One of the founding members
of Cadre Technologies, he brings 30 years of experience from distribution
software and consulting businesses to the company. In addition to
providing executive leadership, he identifies new technologies, products
and partners, and structures relationships for integrated product
and service offerings. This effort is an essential element in Cadre’s
single-source approach to meeting the ever-changing requirements of
the distribution and fulfillment market. Before starting Cadre, Joe founded and served for 15 years as the CEO of Distribution Resources Company, a large software company serving customers in the US, Canada and Europe. This organization merged into Corporate Express, the world’s largest business-to-business distributor of office products and supplies, providing the opportunity to explore leading-edge technologies, to identify and establish relationships with dedicated technology partners, and to build new software products and integrate them across companies and divisions of varying sizes and geographies. Undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Kentucky prepared Joe for ever-increasing responsibilities while spending 12 years with one of the Big 5 consulting organizations. During that time, he was responsible for building and leading a group of consultants that served international distribution and manufacturing clients. This experience created a life-long interest in helping businesses use technology to realize increasing value from their efforts – an interest that underlies the foundation of Cadre.
