Cadre Technologies Obtains New Cold Storage Customer
Great Lakes Cold Storage implements Cadence warehouse management system to reduce labor costs and boost efficiency
DENVER, Colo., March 3, 2009 – Cadre Technologies is pleased to add Great Lakes Cold Storage to its Cadence customer list. Great Lakes implemented Cadre’s Cadence warehouse management system (WMS) to reduce labor and freight costs along with the amount of paper used for fulfilling its food product orders.
Great Lakes Cold Storage provides storage, distribution and full-service freight services for supermarket, food service and industrial companies such as Nestle, Smuckers, Kraft and Heinz. Great Lakes provides 8.6 million cubic feet of modern freezer and refrigerated space at two locations.

Cadence will provide Great Lakes with labor savings by increasing productivity by 10-15 percent, creating more control over expenses and orders. Great Lakes support the environment by reducing the number of documents used in the fulfillment process.
