Cadre Press Release

Cadre Technologies announces advanced Web Order Entry component for its Cadence Fulfillment Software suite.

Denver, CO – January 15, 2003 – Cadre Technologies announced today the availability of extended order entry capabilities to its Cadence Fulfillment Software with a fully interactive Cadence Web Order system. The new web storefront connects users directly to the Cadence Warehouse Management and Order Management systems to build orders, check order status and acquire product information.

Cadence Web Order organizes customer specific product catalogs for users to search for and select products, add them to shopping carts, build quotes and orders, and check inventory availability. All product information, customer records, and inventory status is contained in the centralized Cadence database.

"Giving customers order entry access directly to the warehouse via the Internet significantly improves service, order accuracy and order visibility," explained Joe Peters, president of Cadre. "No other system provides this type of Internet access directly to the warehouse. We refer to it as the 'Glass' warehouse."

Cadence Web Order provides many features including catalog drill-downs, product images and style sheets, multiple shipping addresses/distribution lists, order templates for recurring orders, availability by either quantity or yes/no confirmation, electronic file items for distribution of documents, and complementary item/up-sale recommendation. It is highly configurable to allow variable themes and order rules for different clients and their customers.

The system is an extension of Cadre's unique warehouse-centric Cadence Fulfillment Software design that eliminates duplication of data resources within distribution, 3rd party logistics and fulfillment companies. A single database drives all operational components within Cadence to keep inventory, orders, shipments, and activity tracking all in synch without the need for cumbersome application interfaces.

The Cadence Fulfillment Suite includes Cadence Warehouse (WMS), Cadence Transportation (TMS), Cadence Order (OMS) and Cadence Activity (ABS).

The systems are built on the Microsoft Windows platform. Complementing Cadre's Cadence software products are professional consulting, implementation and support services. Services include warehouse analysis and planning, database conversion, operational consulting, training, and ongoing software support. Cadre offers Cadence both in a phased implementation or as a total systems replacement.

Cadre has management, operations and technical offices in Denver, Colorado and Columbia, Maryland. For more information and a demonstration, contact Roger Rountree at (303) 217-7056 or
