| S & L Services selects Cadre's Cadence Fulfillment Software to enhance 3PL business operations
Ellicott City, MD – July 31, 2003 - Cadre Technologies, Inc. announced today that S & L Services will implement its Cadence Warehouse Management, Order Management, Activity Billing and Web Access Systems to automate its warehouse operations and expand customer services. S & L provides logistics services for a variety of food, paper and consumer product manufacturers direct to retail and to distribution centers.
The Cadence WMS system will automate inventory operations at S & L including receiving, putaway, picking, packing and shipping at the company's warehouse facility in Milton, Pennsylvania. The Cadence Activity Billing System captures warehouse and order management events to facilitate accurate billing. The Cadence Web Access System will provide S & L's customers the ability to enter orders, check order status, inventory and shipments in real-time.
S & L has grown to serve multiple customers since it started business in 1969. The addition of automated inventory and order tracking systems will allow the company to offer more services and improve operational efficiency with total control over product movement and detailed, timely reporting of all activities.
