| Cadre Technologies 2003 User Group Conference Features Preview of New Multimodal Wireless Client Technologies and .Net Platform
Ellicott City, MD – October 20, 2003 – Cadre Technologies, Inc., a leading innovator of fulfillment and logistics software held its 2003 User Conference at the Turf Valley Resort and Conference Center in Ellicott City, Maryland this week to communicate new directions for the Cadence Fulfillment system.
The meeting was attended by Cadence Fulfillment systems users and Cadre Technology partners. It featured a review of Cadence enhancements in 2003 and an introduction to its new Cadence Multimodal wireless client technology which features integrates speech recognition, bar-code scanning and browser interface on a wireless Microsoft Pocket PC device.
"This user conference is a great forum for communicating our progress on Cadence products and to gather feedback on our software and services," Cadre President Joe Peters explained. "We plan to build the Cadre user community as we add many new customers in the next several months."
Cadre also announced it's progress on the Microsoft.Net initiative, participation in the Microsoft SQL Server Ascent program and a new Cadence EDI product, powered by Boomi, Inc., a provider of EDI and enterprise integration software. Michael Acosta, Developer Specialist from Microsoft's Rocky Mountain Region concluded the conference with a keynote presentation.
