| Jane Cosmetics Improves Returns Processing With Cadre Technologies' Cadence Fulfillment Software Returns Module.
Denver, CO – October 28, 2003 - Cadre Technologies today announced that Jane Cosmetics, a division of Estée Lauder, has begun processing returns of merchandise from retailers utilizing Cadence Warehouse Management System. The returns operation is in Jane's warehouse in Baltimore, Maryland.
The Cadence system replaces manual returns processing with accurate item return counts, validation of large quantities receipts and SKU information and organization of other information in the returns process. Cadence supplies real-time information to the host system, as items are returned.
"Improving the accuracy and speed of returns is a critical improvement to our operations," said John Savage, Manager, Credit & Collections. "Cadence has made a big difference in successfully automating this process."
The Cadence Returns Module captures many of the activities required for Jane's returns processes including disposition of returns, electronic interfacing to host system, comparison to Vendor BOL info and management reporting.
