Cadre Technologies’ Cadence WMS Helps International Marketing Group Increase Order Fulfillment Volume Exponentially
To keep up with ecommerce fulfillment demands, IMG required a new solution to deliver large volumes of direct to consumer orders
International Marketing Group (IMG), a marketing solutions and logistics provider, needed to update their warehouse operations to be able to process their largest project to date, 85,000 orders in under three days. With the need to do more and a desire to do it with existing staff, IMG teamed up with their WMS provider, Cadre Technologies, to collaborate on a solution to meet these demands for faster more efficient fulfillment. Validating orders more efficiently through automation rather than relying completely on human labor was the clear direction. In a challenging labor market, automation is not just a nice to have, but it has become a requirement for progressive warehouse operations such as IMG.
In collaboration with IMG, Cadre designed and delivered enhancements to the WMS. Using Cadence’s high-volume, ecommerce focused Shipping Label Picking (SLP) module, IMG was able to increase efficiency and speed without compromising accuracy. “The new speed of our system surpassed our expectations,” explained Bobby Dewitt, VP of Technology at IMG. “Doing something at this volume was inconceivable before. Now we can.”
